The Ministry of Gender Labour and Economic Development has unveiled a mobile application known as Safepal which is used to report cases of child abuse,GBV cases,Sexual reproductive health,HIV/AIDS, TB cases among others. The assistant commissioner in the department of children affairs Mr.Tolleo Franco assured the district leadership and stakeholders present that the Ministry is strengthening systems on childcare and protection and the app is to ensure adequate reporting and timely response of the reported cases without stigmatizing the reporter.
